For a truly unique dining experience book a table in the Grant Dining Room and sample some of the contemporary seasonal dishes from land and sea. Upscale dining at an upscale price! For a more relaxed dining option, Bar 19 is the perfect place to enjoy the bistro style menu.

This hotel offers a fantastic selection of locally sourced Scottish produce with commanding views of the Moray Firth. The seafood is some of the freshest around but my personal favourite is the Blade of Beef! Great quality food with amazing sea views. Also previous winners of the Cullen Skink World Championship!

The Royal Oak is a traditional family run hotel offering light lunches and evening meals. The menu features locally caught fish and shellfish, Aberdeenshire beef, free range pork, lamb and venison. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available. Added bonus: cozy bar with a range of malt whiskies, craft gins, draught beer and ale on tap.

Set in the main square of Cullen with large bay windows the Rockpool is the perfect place to grab a bite and watch the world go by! Whether it’s a quick stop off for coffee and delicious home bake or a relaxed lunch with family and friends, there is something for everyone here! Reservations are recommended as there is limited seating.

The New Denver is a vegan friendly bistro serving barista style coffee, homemade cakes and delicious plant-based food. The intimate dining room offers lunchtime service and bistro nights where guests can tuck into a three-course menu.

LILY's KITCHEN CAFE
Lily’s Kitchen Café offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, wraps, home-made soup and a variety of specials. A previous winner of the Cullen Skink World Championship, Lily’s famous Cullen Skink is probably the best you will ever taste! Another winner is the breakfast munchie boxes which offer great value for money and make the perfect hangover cure!

LINDA'S FISH & CHIPS
We may be slightly biased but this is one of the best fish & chip shops in Moray! Huge selection of delicious items to choose from, large portions and fresh non-greasy batter. Personal favourites are the haddock (obviously) and the chicken fillets. Grab yourself a chippy supper and a seat on one of the benches overlooking the bay…..the perfect end to a summer evening!

THE ICE CREAM SHOP
No visit to Cullen is complete without a trip to the world-famous Ice Cream Shop! The home-made ice cream has been voted the best for many years and is special to Cullen. There are many flavours available, but their secret recipe vanilla gets our vote every time! This is also a traditional old fashioned sweet shop with a wide range of candy, boiled and chocolate, served straight from the jar!
